GRANADILLA - Passiflora ligularis

The Granadilla belongs to the family of the passion fruits. It has a round shape, with 110 to 125gr of weight and 5 to 7.5cms of diameter. The crust is thick, tough and smooth, with an orange colour. The pulp consists in very small and black edible seeds, covered by a juicy, crystalline, transparent and gelatinous texture. It has a sweet flavour and pleasant aroma .
